Hello! My name is Charlotte. I am a dramaturg who focuses on music theater and classical music. Currently, I’m in my second semester in Yale’s Dramaturgy and Dramatic Criticism MFA program at the David Geffen School of Drama. For the last four years, I worked in Germany, firstly as a fellow of the Congress-Bundestag Exchange — a year-long State Department fellowship — and then as an assistant dramaturg in Theater Freiburg’s music theater and concert divisions.

Past projects have taken me to the Washington National Opera, the National Symphony Orchestra, the Glimmerglass Festival, American Opera Projects and the Saarländisches Staatstheater. I hold a Bachelor of Music in classical voice, with a minor in German, from Oberlin Conservatory.
